Apple with the oldie Magsafe, oh no …
October 28th, 2008 Posted in Apple, Gadgets, My LifeAfter I reviewed some photo taken by Engadget after the new MBP’s launch, I saw that Apple still using the same kind of Magsafe power adapter in their newer unibody Macbook Pro!
Gosh .. I’m a bit disappointed now, since I though Apple would modify the Magsafe adapter to be more efficient and not so-easy-to-break like the old model. Anyway, we’ll see what people will think about this, after they fired up their new Magsafe again …
Well, please don’t think that I want anybody’s computer to be on fire, but it just that … why don’t they do something about this. Even they did something about it (such as more insulation,) did they tested it that it’s going to be ok?
OK, for the guys who got new Macbook / Macbook Pros:
Rule #1: Don’t bend the wire, and don’t use that damn L thingie to wrap your wire! Also, don’t pull too hard, or yours will be yanked and shorted like mine!
Rule #2: Before wrap your wire, put your finger underneath the loop, to make sure that there isn’t much pressure to yank the cord from insulation.
That’s it
